First evening...

The IFLA satellite pre-conference "The road to information literacy: librarians as facilitators of learning" started on Wednesday evening with a welcoming session and a city of Tampere reception at the old city hall.

The welcoming session was already a chance to mingle and get to know the 120 participants. A very international crowd! A great thing was that the papers has been edited to a book which now has a bunch of great articles!

The reseption was very nice, the old city hall was very grand and the food was good. Now, getting to know the presentations, some reading is on the schedule for this evening.
